Mark’s career in the property market started in southern Spain in 2003. After a fast paced career in the telecoms sector in London , his love of all things property lead to a change of industry and location. Starting his own real estate agency in Spain with the help of a business contact within the property industry he used his strong sales background and customer focus to build a business. Specialising in selling high end Spanish real estate to international buyers and offering a level of service unseen at that within the Spanish property industry.
Upon returning to England, Mark worked for a large real estate consultancy, coming into contact with traditional estate agency businesses on a daily basis. During this time he observed that agencies in the UK seemed to offer a fragmented service, often buyers and sellers would have no real continuity with who they dealt with throughout the process.
A fortuitous meeting with a developer contact lead Mark to speak with Jamie Gray, the owner of Nexa. He quickly realised that their business model had the ingredient so sorely missed in Estate Agencies, continuity of contact. Given that Mark and Nexa’s principles clearly aligned, he decided to help establish Nexa Liverpool, a company that will disrupt and exceed expectations of what an estate agency will look like to both buyers and sellers.
